- Recipient of the International Adult Basic Education Administrator Award for 1997.

- Adult Product Manager for Gage Leaning Corporation 1998-2002.
- Member advisor to the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR) of Secondary School Reform as pertains to adult education in Ontario.
- Former chairperson and founding director for Ontario Prior Learning Assessment Network (OPLAN).
- Member of the "Ontario Six" who worked with the Ontario Ministry of Education and the GEDTS testing service to bring the GED to Ontario.
